MOAB IS NOT ABOUT THE ROCKS

I refuse to see Moab, UT the same as the rest of humanity... not my style quite honestly. Throughout the extremely photogenic national park there are many places to pull off the road and enjoy the picturesque scenery and view beautiful rock formations that have taken thousands of years to form, ...... BUT the simple truth of the matter is that without Moab's amazing plantlife, with its drastic change from green to red rocks, and then having gorgeous blue skies to complete the scene, Moab would not be nearly as interesting. Even the dead trees and plants destroyed by fires in the past, or just from the desert conditions, tell a great story of the fragility of such a rocky environment and become the focus of my atteniton-- they become the subject of my photographs and the great skies and rock formations are merely a backdrop.
